About me

Hello! I'm a passionate developer who loves coding from scratch and building things from the ground up. My love for coding started at a young age, and since then, I've had countless personal and professional projects.

I'm the kind of developer who enjoys rolling up their sleeves striving to learn more always putting my all into everything I do.

I take great pride in my work and believe in delivering the best possible experience for my audience. I'm dedicated to creating websites that are not only functional and easy to use but are also aesthetically pleasing and enjoyable to interact with.

As a developer, I understand the value of putting in the time and effort to build something truly great. That's why I prefer coding from scratch, rather than relying on pre-built templates or libraries. I believe that this approach allows for greater flexibility, creativity, and control providing the best possible end result.

I'm proud of what I do, and I hope that my passion and dedication come through in every project I work on.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. If you have any questions or would like to discuss BeatSCORE or any other potential project, please don't hesitate to get in touch!

Development so far and what's to come

My main motivation for creating BeatSCORE was finding a way to create a comprehensive and informative overview of the songs. The most technologically advanced feature here would be the complete render and simulation of the song charts.

I believe adding more way for players to learn and practice would greatly benefit them, as I, myself, have been working on this to further improve myself as well.

Initially, I've developed the chart renderer alone. The entire process lasted around 2 months of on/off work as I had time and opportunity. Everything on this website is stored in a database and doesn't rely on anything from the game directly.

Upon finishing the chart, it seemed to me that the next logical step would be to use that vast amount of data and knowledge to present everything in a helpful way for anyone to see. That's how the development of the rest of the page started.

As a seasoned developer with good understanding of PHP, SQL and JavaScript, I've started building the site over the next few months, and got it to a stage that surpassed just songs, introducing also tours, events and boxes.

Building everything from scratch does have it's challanges. Not relying on any framework, most of the work process is analyzing the best approach for a given scenario. However, gaining the experience from completing a challenge like that far outweights the added development time.

Future for BeatSCORE contains a focus on user generated data. Adding a system for users to register and share their own experiences. And in addition to that, a more detailed overview of game content not yet covered, like a journey page, better, and more up to date, box content, etc.

BeatSCORE is committed to providing the best possible experience for the users, and maintaining everything takes it's toll, so I rely on the support of the community to help achieve the goal of BeatSCORE being the best there is.

By visiting BeatSCORE, sharing the content, and providing feedback, you are helping to improve and grow the platform. As a solo developer on the project, every bit of support makes a huge difference, and I appreciate it more than words can say.

So if you enjoy using our website, please consider spreading the word to your friends and fellow Beatstar fans, or even making a small donation to help us cover our costs.

After user system implementation, supporters will also have additional benefits on the site, such as removal of ads, and even being able to run a complete simulation of the chart with audio cues for notes.

If you'd like to help support the project don't hesitate to head over to my Patreon!
